The throw is really well made and is larger and heavier than I expected. Im always cold and think the throw will do a good job of keeping me warm. I bought it mainly to add some texture to my living room, but I will definitely get a lot of use from it. Catavento wrapped the throw and attached a thank you card, along with their current catalog which was a nice touch. Also, they donate a blanket for children in need for every blanket purchased.

Absolutely beautiful!!! Love the throw and it's made well. The company had packaged the throw so beautifully. I felt like a million bucks opening it!! The throw comes with a dust bag for storage. I would highly recommend this brand to others!!!!

I just received this "throw" and I really love it. It is a nice size- larger than a traditional "throw blanket". It feels very durable and I was thinking it could be traditionally washed at home- but upon checking the care tag- it is dry clean only. Probably because it is hand made and this will help ensure it keeps it's beautiful character.

This throw is constructed of a soft yet durable cotton. It is substantial enough to keep you warm but not thick like the faux fur/wool blankets that are sold everywhere. It would work well as an outdoor blanket, or could just as easily serve as a shawl for walks along the beach at night.
