Jute is a fiber extracted from the stem of the jute plant, a rain-fed crop that grows with little need for fertilizer or pesticides. Referred to as the 'golden fiber', jute is not only beautifully textured but 100% biodegradable.
Catavento pieces are crafted by hand, one at a time. As a result, no two are identical and you may find natural distinctions that make them truly one of a kind.
