From Jeffrey Mine, Asbestos, Quebec, Canada. A sparkling cluster of a large cluster of violet-colored vesuvianite crystals crystallized all around on a greenish massive vesuvianite matrix. It appears the earliest vesuvianite crystals are green in color, with later growth being pink-purple, often within individual crystals.
