From Wushan Spessartine Mine, Tongbei-Yunling District, Fujian Province, China. Large specimen of lustrous transparent deep red spessartine garnet crystals over lustrous fully terminated smoky quartz. The garnets are reddish-orange with trapezohedra modified by dodecahedral faces.
