Beautiful specimen from Piedra Parada, Las Vigas de Ramirez, Veracruz, Mexico. Lustrous deep-purple transparent amethyst quartz crystals surrounded by smaller colorless quartz crystals. The purple amethyst color is deepest in the upper termination zones and the largest crystal is internally flawless in the upper.
