Beautiful specimen from Piedra Parada, Las Vigas de Ramirez, Veracruz, Mexico. Parallel formation of amethyst crystals with great transparency and rich purple color with well defined phantom zoning. The crystals are fully terminated with lustrous glassy faces with several crystals having double terminations.
