Heavy, well constructed, wooden boxes that are exactly as pictured. However, the larger box in my set came damaged with split across entire bottom of box. Package was damaged and therefore likely due to shipping. These are large pieces so check dimensions before ordering. Inside box is lined with chain for opening. Like the pieces and therefore gave them a 5 star even though larger box will be discarded.

Although expensive, these boxes are beautiful and well-made. They hold quite a few items in an attractive way. I have one holding remotes, etc. on my black console which has no drawers. I consider it a good purchase.

These boxes are interesting if you are looking to add texture to a room. They are quite large, so make sure you have some room to let them "breathe" in the space. The colour is quite neutral. I think they would work in any transitional space.
