Betty Ntshingila has recreated the classic features of the aardvark, a large, nocturnal animal that lives on ants and termites. The large, rabbit-like ears and its pig-like facial features have been well replicated by the sculptor. The animal has been painted in a natural color palette by artist Sbu Mbatha, giving authenticity to this sculpture.
