The translucent white material, PC/PE nonwoven, lets the light penetrate evenly through the lampshade, casting a pleasant and indirect light into the room, resulting in soft shadows. The lamp spins from a circle at an angle, contributing to the pendant’s unique and vivid expression when experienced from different angles. The base of the pendant is open, casting light directly below, making it an obvious choice to hang, for example, above the dining table.

The TR10 is a larger and more voluptuous version of the TR7. With the iconic hourglass shape, it is a lamp that speaks to our aesthetic sense. The shade of the TR10 conceals the light sources and provides a soft, diffused light. A small amount of direct light is allowed to pass through an opening at the top and at the base. The TR10 has sculpture and presence, and provides style, even when unlit.

The TR7 table lamp is being relaunched with a different base. The new foot means that the lamp now stands lower, so that it merges beautifully with the surface on which it is placed. The base is made of plywood, which plays nicely against the Finnish birch, from which the slats in the screen are made. The TR7 series features Tom Rossau’s well-known organic shapes that elegantly twist around each other. The table lamp’s size makes it ideal for placing in dark corners and smaller rooms, where the sculptural design comes to the fore and takes on a central role. TR7 creates pleasant and calm lighting in any room, as the lamp’s lamella shade encloses the bulbs and produces a beautiful, indirect illumination.

The Tom Rossau TR747 pendant, also known as “Come Fly with Me” is constructed from 32 hand folded birch veneer planes. The paper plane is one of the most iconic elements from the childhood, and Tom Rossau was inspired by memories playing as a child with paper planes, with his grandfather in the living room. The planes are flying around the light source in a playful way creating a sphere. Resulting in a warm and beautiful illumination of the wings of the planes.

The No. series are not assembled on delivery to minimise the environmental footprint during transport. By creating a series of flat-packed lamps, the user is invited to participate in the creation of the lamp at home and can play with the materials and shapes that help define Tom Rossau’s design universe. All the birch lamellae used for the lamps in the No. series are cut with a circular stroke, creating a rounded edge at each end.
