Taracea
At Taracea, we are inspired by nature and committed to preserving her beauty. All of our wood is sourced in environmentally responsible ways by either recovering it from fallen trees deep in the Riviera Maya jungle, reclaiming it from old barns or construction materials, or reforesting it from our plantations and forests. Each creation is bench-made using our mentor/apprentice system. When a master craftsman works on a Taracea unit, an apprentice assists, bringing him one step closer to becoming a Taracea Master Craftsman. Our furniture has a deep and varied history that sets it apart from commercial equivalents.
