Since 1798, Emaux de Longwy has been manufacturing imprints in earthenware pieces. Finding his inspiration in the metallic enamels, Emaux de Longwy created an alternative ceramic glaze using a technique that is now recognized as cultural heritage in France. The decorations are multi-culturally inspired in a wide range of periods including traditional, art deco, and modern designs. Each piece is decorated by hand using a drip method with thick glaze resulting in deeper colors usually not found in earthenware.
