Each frame is carefully fabricated by leading artisans in Peru. Wrapped entirely with burnished leather and detailed with contrast braiding at the corners, this piece evokes the superior workmanship of days gone by. “Speaking my parent's native tongue during the design and production phase with a skilled team of artisans brought forth images of my adolescent years in the Andes when we piled onto cowhides, sliding down the hillside of my friend's family ranch,” shares the designer. "It was an honor working with such a talented group of expert artisans.

Offered in three colors, our unique, modern vases are handmade in small batches with pre-conditioned leather and fully burnished edges. Beautiful on their own or with flowers. the decorative cork buttons are hand-cut and sanded in studio. Because we love square edges, rather than using a premade cord, the coordinating leather strips used to fasten the buttons onto the sleeves are also hand-cut. The removable leather sleeve will patina beautifully over time and can be conditioned.

As unique as it is elegant, this set of wall art is as much about the beauty of the delicate leaves and burnished gray leather frames as it is about every detail bringing it to life. Pre-made linen mat boards would never offer the look or quality we sought, so we sourced finely woven linen to painstakingly create a handmade fabric mat with mitered edges, a key element in bringing the leather framework into the artwork. The ivory linen is raised above the leaf to evoke a floating sensation as it does not touch the glass, an effect impossible to capture in a two-dimensional photo. The frayed edge linen detail has been a Designs by Alina’s signature look since 2014.

The Lone Cypress Scented Designer Candle is hand-poured with a coconut-soy wax blend for a superior experience. Heavenly Whisper is a crowd-pleaser, combining bergamot, frankincense, myrrh, amber, oud, and powder. In addition to the poetry-infused magnetic box fit for a jewel, our matt black, luxe vessel holds 11 ounces of premium wax offering 55-65 hours of burn time. The wooden wick gently crackles when lit, its horizontal flame becoming visible through the vessel. These candles offer an unrivaled scent throw which refers to how well a candle's aroma circulates throughout a space. As soy wax is the winner when lit, and coconut when unlit, the Lone Cypress Scented Designer Candle is the best of both worlds. In addition, coconut wax is a renewable, high-yield crop which makes it a great sustainable product. Handmade with ultra-soft Spanish linen from one of the finest fabric mills in Europe, the front accent panel is also handmade in our studio with merino wool and alpaca. The accent panel trim is handspun to specification with Shetland wool yarn from England. Lined with cotton. White goose down insert.
