I got a standard cocktail shaker before this and found that the top can be very difficult to remove. This Boston shaker is easier to work with in that regard. However, keep in mind that it does not come with a strainer, so you may need to buy one separately. I like the minimalist design, high quality, and easy cleanup as it's dishwasher safe.. Ellen. He appreciates being able to make drinks with tools that haven’t been used to prepare onions and garlic. ) He likes the look of this set. This is a nice looking set that I prefer to martini shaker sets. The glasses are large and the mixer glass makes 2 drinks perfectly. The metal is sturdy and seems like it will last a long time. The only reason I took off a star is that I was hoping the glass would be thicker. I am a bit nervous to put it in the dishwasher so I’ll be washing these by hand.. Paige. Topeka, KS. This bucket is very small. Hand in picture for scale. I guess I should have read the dimensions but the picture certainly made it seem bigger, maybe that’s just me.
