These bath towels are super soft. I normally order the larger bath towels, but went with the standard "bath towel" this time. Was pleasantly surprised these are quite large for being standard. Did have to wash/dry quite a few times to remove the fuzz. The "ribbed" does snag quite easy. My husband never comments, but did say these were the softest towels he's ever used.
