This duvet is just beautiful. It’s 100% cotton and just silky to the touch. I really wouldn’t call it beige: it’s more of an ivory. There are good ties in each corner to secure the comforter inside. I have been looking to replace a favorite quilt that is so old it is coming apart. I thought this may be the one. It is not exactly what I had hoped for. The material is burlap-y, not soft and smooth like I hoped. It also has a smell that I think is from the dye. I am going to attempt wash it in the hopes that it will be better. The label says it is washable in delicate so that is what I will do. I was also a bit disappointed that for the high price it would come with pillow shams.
