The fabric is soft and the color is pretty, but it is very thin for the price. Also, there are NO corner ties which is a real disappointment. I had already washed it before realizing that there is not a way to stabilize the duvet inside or I would have returned need it! Overall, I would not recommend this item. FALSE ADVERTISING. Buyer beware. I purchased this set twice. It is advertised a a 5 Piece Set. Both times, I received 3/5 pieces, the duvet cover and two shams. I called customer service live and per their request, uploaded multiple photos of both orders. I was told a different department would be handling the issue either through a phone call or email within 24-48 hours. The new agent (who explained that she’d be available via email only and any calls I attempted to make would only delay her response) told me she would request the missing pieces I purchased. I waited. A follow up email matter of factly stated Perigold could not ship the missing pieces. I checked the site, and these items are available for purchase individually to this day. The next and only solution presented in a subsequent email? Cold instruction to ship back the pieces I did receive for a refund. Fond of the style of the duvet, I requested to keep the three pieces and asked for a price adjustment to offset the missing pieces included in the pricing (again they WERE available but Perigold refused to do the honest thing and provide the items as advertised. In response to my prompt, I was offered a measly 15% discount off of the 5 piece set price. No appreciation that I caught the error. No promise to rectify it for future customers. No gratitude for my faith in Perigold for the efforts I endured to help them make it right or discovering the issue. Perigold now is fully aware of the misleading item description, and it remains on the site advertised as a 5 piece set. The pieces that are listed as part of the set also still remain available to purchase. The lack of consideration, honesty, professionalism and accountability is unacceptable. My time and trust was exploited and Perigold exposed itself as a greedy and deceptive enterprise. I am in the process of reaching out to the vendor separately to make them aware of unscrupulous business practices by a company they trust to represent their products. I’m truly appalled..
