• All natural French wool quilting: Layers of pre-compressed French wool are quilted to the surface covering providing an all-natural fire barrier, as well as helping to ventilate body heat and maintain a dry sleeping environment. The French wool is washed in baking soda and water without any chemicals, and the sheep free graze on open plains and hillsides in France.
• Latex is hypoallergenic, dust mite, mildew, and mold resistant.
• Brushed canvas covering made with cotton: The brushed canvas covering is made with cotton to ventilate body heat to sleep more comfortably. The fabric is brushed to provide a softer, more supple feel. And is woven on precision computerized looms to exacting and consistent specifications.
• A great choice for those that want to add surface softness to the mattress, while maintaining excellent back support. It is a favorite on the Natural cotton w/wool wrap mattress, as well as the Natural latex quilt-top mattress.
• Advantages of the Natural pillowtop pad: Adds surface plushness and luxurious comfort to the mattress. May enhance the wear and lifespan of the underlying mattress, as body weight is first absorbed by the pillowtop pad. If need be, a replacement pillowtop pad can be purchased separately. Being able to remove the pillowtop pad to rotate the mattress means less weight to handle, as compared to a mattress where the pillowtop pad(s) are sewn in.
• All natural GOLS Dunlop latex cushioning: The latex conforms to the contours of the body and contains ventilation holes to allow dissipation of body heat. The Latex milk is tapped from sustainable rubber tree plantations in Sri Lanka, and then processed into cores and slices at a local plant.
