I recently purchased the Pine Cone Hill Roark Matelasse Coverlet in brown. It looked more taupe-grey or mushroom online, but it's a milk chocolate brown. I don't like that the coverlet has a one-sided design with the seam on the back—there is no backside to the coverlet. It is not as soft as I had hoped. Despite this, I decided to keep it because it fits well with my modern yet rustic aesthetic.

Beautiful, luxurious fabric. Added elegance to my otherwise understated room. Nice and weighty coverlet is perfect for FallWinter seasons although I keep it on the bed year round!

I was very disappointed to receive the coverlet pillow shams only to find that the color in no way whatsoever resembled the photo. The photo shows a beautiful icy blue color, but what I got was a dull gray. Terribly disappointing was returned the next day.

It is thinner than what I expected but it is not cheap. It is a great spring/ summer layer. Great rich color

Just wasn't right for me.
