The coverlet is a little darker than it appears in the picture. It is very soft but has more of an upholstery fabric look than iI wanted.

This is lovely set and very soft. I was afraid it might shrink in the washer but I dried it in a very low setting as suggested and it came out perfect. I got the 3 large 30x30 pillowcases that match to complete the look I wanted.
