Colour is gorgeous, true to online image surprisingly! The velvet feel of the material is luxurious, while the weight of this comforter is hefty, not filmsy- all positive attributes what I expect at this higher price point $$$$, from a reputable brand. Bottom line: highly recommended, quality measures up to expectations. Note: manufacturer suggests DRY CLEAN only, so take that into account - re: cleaning method, time/convenience, additional expense.
