I was pleased when the Maritime Marine Comforter arrived and I saw its bold blue stripes. The comforter and pillows will match the accessories in my granddaughter’s room.

I purchased a king-sized Maritime Striped Comforter for my nautical themed bedroom. I am very pleased with the quality of the comforter and it looks exactly like it did online. The comforter is heavier than I expected and the fabric is stiff, therefore I only put it on the bed if we are having company. It’s much too heavy for everyday use and considering the price, I am being very protective of it. ( We have a dog that’s sleeps on it too.) I’m disappointed that I can’t use it every day but it’s ok. I found a more economical comforter that’s lightweight and soft when I don’t use the Maritime comforter. Just a notation that I did not purchase the pillows. I had a friend custom make 2 of them using a yard of the striped fabric from Eastern Accents. I hope this review helps.
