This tile arrived and a box was full of broken tiles. I contacted Wayfair and they sent out more tiles right away and enough unbroken tiles for our project. The tile are really nice quality and will work perfectly for us. A box or two were not packaged well enough to overcome the shipping process. This was better in the final boxes shipped.. Mary. This was the perfect tile for our backsplash with the grey upper cabinets and the green(sage) lower cabinets. It's like it was made for our kitchen. The only disappointment was that when I needed one more box I couldn't get the lower price (for not ordering a large quantity again). Always order more than you think! Thin Bejmat Glazed Zellige (13mm) Sample. These are 6"x2" Bejmat tiles (150x50x13mm). Bejmat are a particular style of rectangular Glazed Zellige tiles, with slabs cut before firing. These thinner bejmat help reduce the weight for wall applications. Produced by hand in Fez, Morocco, these Moroccan mosaic floor tiles are known the world over. Still made with the local clays, and fired in kilns powered by olive pits, these rectangular floor tiles are authentic Zellige (zellij).

These rectangular Bejmat tiles are thicker pavers, great for floors and patios, but still, light enough for well-constructed wall use. Professional installation is required.

I purchased the Moroccan handmade zellige tiles in the color ‘Oceanside’ from Wayfair for my bathroom floor, and I am thrilled with the result. The beautiful blue hue of the tiles, with plenty of variation, matches the name perfectly—it really does resemble deep blue water on the floor. The tiles arrived well-packaged, with only a few field pieces broken, which wasn’t a major issue. While there were some minor chips on the edges, using a similar color grout and cutting the edges made them blend in nicely, so they’re hardly noticeable.
