With its rich hue, the Maya chevron sage is a unique glass mosaic that has a stained glass look and multi-tonal color. A perfect complement to kitchen backsplashes, home bar backsplashes, or powder room walls, this mosaic provides dimensional movement to any space. The mosaic is both an ancient technique and a shortcut to quick tile installations. The artisanal process of piecing together small stones or rounded pebbles to create icons and decorate buildings endures - even after centuries. Here, stained glass studded with multicolored chips is cut into bricks and applied to a flexible mesh backing in a modern mosaic fashion. The result is a boon to DIYers.
