Our toilet has worked flawlessly for 7+ years with a lot of daily use. I installed this toilet and noted it is a tad more difficult to install than a "standard" USA toilet. However, the differences are, IMO, from superior engineering - especially how to toilet fits onto the floor and the plumbing connects. Any installation shortcut(s) and for sure there will be problems. (Note: I was not compensated in any way for this review - just a firm believer in Kohler products after spending years repairing and wasting money on inferior brands.). Retired-diyer. Pennsylvania. Skirted Design toilets also minimize the need to reach behind the bowl to clean the nooks and crannies of the exterior trapway. The Aquia® IV features a TOTO's Dynamax Tornado Flush®, utilizing a 360-degree cleaning power to reach every part of the bowl. The enhanced design of the Aquia® IV inner bowl reduces water flow resistance and turbulence, resulting in a quieter flush. The chrome center-mounted push button that sits atop the tank allows you to proactively conserve water by choosing between a 0.9 GPF rinse or 1.28 GPF for tougher jobs. This version of the Aquia® IV offers TOTO T40 Washlet®+ compatibility for when you are ready to upgrade. Washlet®+ toilets feature a channel on the bowl surface to help conceal your Washlet®+ supply line and power cord for seamless integration. The Acquia® IV meets the EPA WaterSense standards and California Cec and Walgreen requirements. The Aquia® IV comes ready for installation into a 12" rough-in, but may be adapted for a 10" or 14" rough-in with the purchase of a separately sold adapter. The Aquia® IV bowl and tank set includes a soft-close seat, tank-to-bowl hardware, a tank-to-bowl gasket, outlet socket, and toilet bolt caps. Additional items needed for installation and use must be purchased separately: wax ring, toilet mounting bolts, and water supply lines. Compatible with T40 Washlet®+ electronic bidet seat only.

Bring modern refinement to your bathroom with the KOHLER Persuade elongated toilet bowl with skirted trapway.
