I received a sample of these tiles from Apollotiles and wanted to share my honest first impression. The first thing I noticed was the packaging. It was very secure and the tile arrived in perfect condition with no cracks or damage, which is really important for something like this. The design is beautiful in person. The blue tone is soft but still stands out, and the matte finish gives it a more modern and elevated look instead of something overly shiny. The basketweave pattern adds texture and makes it feel more custom. Even as a sample, the quality feels solid and well made. The porcelain has a nice weight to it and does not feel fragile. Since I only received a sample, I have not installed it yet, so I cannot speak to long term durability or the installation process. But based on the look and feel, it definitely gives a high quality impression. Overall, it looks really good and feels like a great option if you are going for a clean and elevated tile design.. We had our cabinets redone, but for a year we could NOT figure out what we wanted to do for the backsplash! After ordering tile sample after sample, we finally decided on this beautiful glass honeycomb tile. We wanted a color pop, colors that combine ‘life’, ‘outdoors’, with a feel of water…this tile was PERFECT! We opted for black grout. The tile installer was NOT excited, but we are so happy we didn’t let him change our minds! We have copper accents in the kitchen, and while there is not really copper in the tile, the metallic colors really work well together. The end result blew our expectations out of the water! The tile is beautiful - several shades of dark blue with a matte finish. Lost a star because it was not packaged well - at least 2 tiles in every mosaic sheet were chipped. Box was sturdy, but only a think piece of tissue paper separated the mosaic sheet. Because we ordered extra, installer was able to "cut and paste" tiles to replace the chipped ones.
