These are real marble rocks of various sizes that have been halved and hand-set on a fiberglass mesh backing. The order arrived on time and looked good. Color is consistent. It is grade 1 according to the specs, which is the softest and probably easily scratched. Many specifications are either missing or not available such as water absorption, sealing info, DCOF rating, etc. Since it is engineered stone, I assumed it would not absorb water. I did an overnight water absorption test and the pebbles did not seem to absorb water. This is exactly what I want for a shower floor.
