Defective Cabinet Within Months – No Support or Refund I purchased this cabinet from Wayfair for $1,800, expecting a high-end product with lighting and Bluetooth. It was brand new and professionally installed by a licensed electrician in January 2025. By April—just a few months later—the lighting failed completely. The same electrician returned (at my expense) and confirmed the issue was an internal wiring defect sealed inside the unit. I submitted everything—photos, receipts, and the electrician’s report—starting in April. It’s now July, and despite over two months of calls, emails, and escalation, Wayfair has done nothing. No part, no refund, no resolution. I’ve now paid for the initial installation, a separate diagnostic visit, and an entirely new bathroom light fixture just to make the space usable. Meanwhile, I’m stuck with a nonfunctioning, heavy, wall-mounted cabinet that was supposed to be powered and high-tech—but does nothing. Customer service simply dropped off. I’ve filed a formal credit card dispute and am escalating to consumer protection agencies. Wayfair does not stand behind this product. If anything goes wrong, you’re on your own. Avoid.
