My son didn’t know how to actually close off the drain with this. It’s completely flathead when it is open. I love it. Very heavy duty

I keep telling my customers about these and I keep installing them. No more lift-rod failure or adjustments on a pop-up and I figure the easy cleaning keeps the p-trap cleaner since it gets flushed well. I see it as a net-savings for my customers having invested once in a good waste and not having to pay for the next time around
