Nice and large but they snag!!!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I wanted a spa experience for the winter time, so we splurged on these towels. I washed them before using and did not use fabric softener. We could not believe how they lacked absorbency. Husband gave me his set after one shower. I tried for a shower after washing them again. Same smearing of water rather than soaking it up. They are all in the donate bag now.
