We're very pleased with this purchase. For a simple white toilet seat, it's really elegant. We plan to buy a second one.

This toilet seat adds a bit of elegance to an otherwise boring toilet in our rental apartment. The quiet close feature is terrific. However, this is our third time getting this item. The seat itself has cracked in two of them. It appears the material is not strong enough and it's hollow nature may be a design weakness. The first time Kohler sent us the 2nd one gratis. Despite not stepping on the 2nd one that also developed a crack in the seat after about two years. I hope they can fix the flaw as we love the design and would hate to not be able to buy another one. Hence the 4 and not 5 stars.
