Totally irresponsible manufacture, an extremely slippery surface, possible tragedy for 80+ year olds. I am surprised you have not suffered lawsuits. My purchase was a big mistake.

I purposely selected this showerbase hoping that it's higher price would make it last. The material seemd thicker than inexpensive box store pans. Now 7 months after installing it there's a crack forming at the drain. This is only going to get worse and likely start leaking. Replacing the pan at this point will be a huge job including breaking out tile, door trim and flooring. I'm sick about it and beyond upset.

Love it, perfect size. Had one in my other bathroom for years, very happy with it.

Installation was June 2023. We needed a walk in shower installed, because our old bath tub unit was too dangerous & my husband has to have both knees replaced. We chose this one instead of doing a tile base & we are very happy with it. Plenty of room for a shower chair, which is what we went with. The textured floor can still be a little slippery, but we added non slip squares for textured surfaces & that has really helped. That is the reason I could not give a five star rating, the only reason! The first base did come in damaged, but it was a breeze getting it replaced with another one! You should always expect things like that to possibly happen, as this base is big & heavy! We have no regrets with this shower base.

We originally ordered this 7/27/23 and it arrived via FedEx regular delivery truck & it was left on our porch. Our contractor was not scheduled to begin our project so we stored it inside. When he took it out of the box it was damaged & we called Kohler for a replacement. Customer Service was extremely, extremely accommodating & the replacement was sent via freight delivery which we would recommend for any large items. Freight delivery requires you to inspect the item before signing off on the delivery, no damage this time. The shower base fit exactly in the space. We have not used the base yet as our bathroom remodel is still in progress. We chose Kohler because of their reputation for quality and hope this product meets the same standard we’ve experienced through the years with their products.
