My husband bought this shower base because he was afraid that a tiled shower base might leak in the long run. Nevertheless we purchased this Kohler shower base. It came in a crate that was half open. After installing he noticed two scratches on it. Tried calling Wayfair but could not get through because of COVID. I’m hoping that they sell some type of product that can buff out the scratches. Otherwise it looks like a good solid shower base.

We are pleased with the initial quality of the shower base. It arrived with no damage that we can see despite the shipping crate basically having fallen apart. For such a heavy item you would think that they would put more than just two straps on the crate. Kohler could improve the packaging. That said, the base is built like a tank with not even a scratch. The quality is superb in comparison to some acrylic bases we have seen. And no need for a mortar bed!

So far so good. The delivery partner was a bit wonky (they didn’t set a time per what Wayfair said they would do - they just showed up - luckily someone was there to receive the item).
