It is more refined and elegant than the regular Kohler seats. It covers the bowl better than the other general seats. On a chair height or an ADA bowl, they can be too high. Ours is chair height, so when you add this seat, it is a half inch less thickness, so we like it better. The slow close function works well.

My cats like to sit on it (closed, of course!) and haven’t had any issues with it breaking or durability issues overall. It was easy to install and seems to be a good deal price wise. I’ll have this for a while.
