I needed a shower door that was tall enough for my 6‘3“ husband to step through without ducking his head. Quite a few of these frameless showers have a top bar which is too short. This one happened to be tall enough and had thicker glass with the clean coat technology. The price was almost half the price of a custom glass shower door system, and the quality was identical. We have yet to install it in our new construction home.

At this price-point I recommend going custom. Kohlers packaging is poor for these oversized glass doors. On top of this the factory puts stickers on the glass that are a pain to remove and leave residue and the stickers are placed exactly where the horizontal bar go on the shower door making it extremely difficult to ever be perfectly clean unless you clean the glass before you install the door

Kohler originally shipped the wrong exterior door - it had holes for a towel bar and the one I ordered only has the vertical door handles without a towel bar. So whoever packed the box made a mistake, so it's OK, we are all human. I called Kohler and their support was able to create a new order and a month later, the correct door arrived. They did warn me I'd have to wait a month as they are having delays in production. The door itself is magnificent, just pure beauty. I am 6'3" and do not even have to duck under the very tall door when entering/exiting the shower room. It looks amazing! glad i didn't get the towel bar version since that would be ugly and block the view of our newly-remodeled beautiful tile in the shower room. I had contractors install it so I cannot comment on the installation process but they commented how they've never installed one this tall and were impressed!
