The gratitude I feel for finally finding this 3" rise toilet seat is beyond words. I know that sounds silly to say about a toilet seat, but it's true. My husband has Parkinson's Disease and the toilet in his bathroom is a one piece, which means the toilet seat attaches via "pins" that allow it to snap on. Kolher's Hyten Elevated Toilet Seat with Quiet-Close Lid and Seat and Grip-Tight Bumpers is made for a one-piece toilet. My husband feels safe, and the seat does not look like a medical device. Perfect 3” riser with soft close lid is exactly what I needed and after serval risers finally found this one and it’s great! Looks like a regular toilet seat but better for my knees.

It was easy to install, and looks good. Much more comfortable too.
