I bought this toilet for our bathroom remodel because I liked the look. Unfortunately, it’s the worst performing toilet I ever had. The bowl would not fill and two different plumbers said there was nothing wrong, but we had to scrub the bowl after every use. Then why did kohler reinvent a flushing mechanism that has worked for a century? It either ran or failed to fill the tank and we constantly had to remove the tank lid to tap the mechanism into action…until I dropped the lid and it shattered. That’s when I replaced the whole toilet with a good old American standard for about the cost of replacing the kohler tank lid. Now a second new Kohler toilet in the house is having flush issues and will have to be replaced. My American standard worked for at least 40 years before we had any problems.

I am a plumber by trade and have been installing all different kinds of toilets for years. Terrible design for securing the tank to the toilet. Absolutely no way to get a sturdy fit with this horrible bracket system. Yes it works enough to keep the toilet from leaking and yes it’s functional but the tank wobbles around. You can tighten it all you want want but at a certain point the bracket just bends because the mounting holes are too far away from the vent of the bracket making it wobble no matter what you do. Over complicated. Over designed. And over priced. Would not buy u less you want to have a tank that wobbles and bangs of the toilet.
