The majority of this set is plastic and flimsy. The only true metal part on this is the handle itself. The plate is plastic and the showerhead is mostly entirely plastic. I was really disappointed for the price point. I purchased the matching faucet for a vanity and had the exact opposite experience. That entire set was fully metal and heavy duty. The shower set also does not come with the "rough in" valve that is required for a new shower assembly. Kohler's website mentions this as being a necessary installation part but Perigold's does not. I highly recommend Perigold updating their description so that other customers are not inconvenienced by this.

This hardware is gorgeous. And I saved big money ordering from Wayfair. Highly recommend to anyone that loves Kohler product.
