An overflow is a small hole in the back of the sink that prevents the sink from overflowing. When the sink is full of water, this hole allows air to circulate to the drain so the water can drain more quickly.

This is an exquisite piece. This is more like artwork than a sink. Kohler outdid themselves this time!

This sink is just breathtaking....I used it when updating my powder bathroom. Could not be happier with my purchase.

I am in love with this sink. It was one of the first items ordered for my remodel so it's been sitting in the box waiting installation until today. My contractor was a little skeptical of it; he'd never seen anything like it before. The carpenter who's making the cabinet for it was enthralled with it and when it was installed today, all the people involved in it were amazed and impressed with how gorgeous it is. I chose a brown marble as the counter top and it turned out just as I'd pictured in my mind. Everyone who has seen it (and I might've sent out a ton of photos to my friends and invited neighbors to take a look at well) is green with envy. I am so happy. The only downside to it is that you can't just scrub it out with cleanser; it requires more gentle treatment but since it's the guest bathroom, it's no big deal.
