We have the Veil and a Toto washlet and we all far prefer the Kohler Veil. The comfort and cleaning capabilities are far superior to the Toto. Even the remote is more intuitive and easier to read, change than our Toto. My only complaint is that although it was professionally installed, we have wanted to adjust a few things (light, waterfill in the bowl) and think Kohler lacks in providing a more thorough guidebook. Having said that, if our Kohler Veil broke, I'd definitely buy another.

This toilet was very clearly never tested A) by a man, or B) by anyone that needs a mercy flush (a flush while seated). It will absolutely drench anyone that's sitting on the seat when this thing flushes, man or woman. For the price, it is an *astonishing* oversight. That aside, it's a great toilet and we like it. Warm seat, built in bidet, all the features. A nice splurge in a bathroom, but just...be careful when flushing.

While this toilet has a nice appearance and good features, it's clearly designed for women and not men or couples. If only some of the functions could be customized (e.g., raise/lower both the lid/seat as an option) and the bowl designed a little deeper (watch your privates, gentlemen!), it'd be a nice product. But as is, I cannot recommend it to couples/men and very much regret this expensive purchase.
