It needed washed but now that is has been washed, it will NEVER fit a kleenex box again! People want to wash the cold and flew germs off this cover...but just an FYI...you will never be able to use it again except to wipe your nose☹...and at 26.00 dollars for a piece of cloth no bigger than a paper towell YIKES!
