While this tub filler is good looking, we are having trouble with the cartridge. Our plumber installed the filler the first time, turned the water back on only to discover the filler was leaking from the valve. He removed the cartridge, which turned out to be faulty (a plastic disk inside the cartridge was cracked in several places). I purchased a replacement cartridge for him which he installed, only to find the very same thing happened again: leaking from the valve area. He removed the second cartridge and found it, too, was cracked. He was never even able to use the valve so knows it wasn't due to use that the cartridge was broken. I've submitted a request for a solution to Wayfair, and also to Grohe, to see what can be done.

Beautiful piece, works perfectly but is rather large size, best paired with a more substantial tub. Did not expect it, based on the pictures on the site. great quality.
