we have noticed a big safety issue with these glasses that could potentially lead to the glasses falling on the people who use the shower. After we had the showers installed as per the instructions found in the manual, we noticed that when the sliding shower panel closes, it bumps up after coming into contact with the panel stoppers. This results in the roller guides moving away from the shower rod, enabling the shower panel to become derailed and come off of the floor bracket. This is a very alarming interaction as the opening and closing of the sliding panel is typical for its usage, which means that the sliding panel will always end up derailing eventually after the sliding panel is used a couple times. We reached out to GW and unfortunately very little was done to remedy this. They sent us two safety pins and the problem persists even after installation of the new pins. This was the GW response to this important safety issue: “ The roller guides should not be coming loose from the rod if tightened and installed properly. If you are having issues tightening these pieces completely, please let us know and we can send a replacement to you. The purpose of these hardware pieces is to keep the door from being able to fall off of the rod. We have sold thousands of this model and upon proper installation and use, the door panel should not be able to jump off of the rod. Additionally, as this is a frameless glass shower enclosure, care should be taken when closing the door panel as to not allow it to slam into the rollers.”

So far so good. The gold isn’t the best gold, but it was cheaper than the black so definitely worth a little extra savings

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m more than happy with this sliding door system, my bathroom look amazing. Super high quality glass I mean all of it.. it took approximately 2 hours to install it . But I was worth it all the work. I’m super happy with this door system . I really recommend it.
