The size is perfect for a newborn right up to a toddler. It's super soft agains the baby's skin and definitely absorbs the water from bath time. The hood is large enough to easily fit any size head and get the hair dry.

The absorbency is great and it’s big enough for my one year old after a bath. I’ve washed it a few times but only hang dry it as I’m worried about shrinkage. The pattern is so gorgeous, with neutrally colored lions and other African animals. It’s great for both male and female babies alike. The hood is also a nice feature, as it helps towel off soft baby hair and keeps the baby warm while they’re being dried off. I also love the small loop at the top of the hood, which makes it easy to hang it up to dry afterwards. It’s a great towel for bath time or the beach, and would make a lovely gift for any little one.
