The wall where this needed to go is just too small for a conventional (18" or 24") towel bar. We attempted a ring (a pain) and we tried a double bar that was connected on just one end and fanned out on the end not connected (a disaster). This bar is the perfect size for a powder room and fits a hand towel with room to spare. It's also solid - not some light little thing that you're afraid to use. It's substantial and it looks great. We're very happy with this purchase.

Little pricey but the size fits the space perfectly! Nice quality!
