I purchased many items from this line for 2 bathrooms during our remodel. It all looked great until we started using this toilet paper holder. Due to the taper of the mounting post, it will NEVER tighten fully with the set screw. This means the holder won't stay in the correct position, and moves back and forth, which gouges the walls as a result. I contacted Alno who refused to talk directly to customers, so Wayfair called them. They have not updated the mounting post and are pretending like it should work. You can see from the mark on the post in the photo how the set screw never comes fully in contact with the post. There is no way it will hold. I will never purchase from Alno again with their horrendous customer service and refusing to fix, or even acknowledge such an obvious design flaw. Now I am going to have to try drilling through the post to see if I can get it to stay in place, or fabricate an alternative post. This product (and company) does not deserve even one star. Thank you Wayfair for at least trying to resolve the situation.

Great toilet paper holder for our bathroom remodel

While I loved the design of this toilet paper holder, it is absolutely useless as such. The problem is the that no matter how hard you try to attach the holder to the wall post, the holder just spins freely.

Doesn’t attach tightly to the wall and wobbles every time you unroll the toilet paper. Hangs crooked. Not cheap, but cheap!

We had this and a few other types of tp holders installed by our GC, who has done tons of these. This is the only one that isn't secure to the way- if you hold the base of it, it goes from side to side, like you could turn it around. Everyone has tried fixing this but there doesn't seem any way. It looks great though...
