Bank on about 50% of your tiles/ledgers being broken...but wayfair was great about sending free replacements as long as you send a photo of the broken parts. Easy to cut with tile saw and easy to install with white premixed mortar. We added a live edge mantel and shiplap above. Our hearth is pennsylvania blue stone slab that we painted white with a masonary paint in high gloss white.
