I have had this item for 4 years now. Aside from some cracking in the finishing on the top (probably water damage over time), this nightstand has held up in a toddler's room all this time. It even survived a move. What we liked most about it is that it is very toddler safe. No sharp corners, drawers that don't automatically close on fingers, and paint that doesn't chip off under even extreme abuse over the years. I highly recommend this product to any parent.
