The Rapture Collection is the exception to our rule. Woven Concept's purist philosophy focuses on the creation of hand-made, high-end rugs. The Rapture Collection rugs are the single machine-woven exception that lives up to our very high standards. The hand-finished rugs have a soft look and feel like a beautiful patina, and are wonderfully pliable. The heavy rug pile is semi-plush and hand-knotted-like in quality, conveying the highest standard of quality that Woven Concepts strives for.

Over dyed rugs demonstrate a process best described as 'The modern palette applied to classics. It consists of an added step to the finishing process in which the rug is antique washed, sheared, and finally hand dyed in a full immersion bath of a chosen color. The effect is quite stunning, adding a vibrant overcast to the whole rug and blending seamlessly with the prior dyes.

Subtle tone-on-tone stripes give the Cordi collection a depth and sophistication all its own. These rugs can pull the disparate elements of a room into a beautifully cohesive whole; they can also introduce an unexpected but welcome jolt of color into an otherwise neutral space. Handcrafted by skilled artisans, they will stand up to heavy traffic for years while maintaining their elegance.

The rug is beautiful and is very soft. My only complaint is that it shows footprints (color goes from dark to light) fairly easily. So the rug can have a lot of random shading after stepping on it a lot.. Janine. Tue Jun 11 2024

Hand-knotted in wool, this modern 9x12 Moroccan rug by Rug & Kilim explores a blend of minimalism and Art Deco sensibilities in a bold interpretation of the Berber style. On the Design: This new collection is handmade by some of the most devoted nomadic weavers in rural Morocco, both keeping a rich tradition alive and helping it to flourish with new possibilities today. This particular rug’s marriage of lush, high-pile wool in a high-and-low textural style plays rich aubergine purple and grisailles blue tones in a subtle, gorgeous fashion. It’s a feat to play that modern sense of dimension with the textural beauty of primitivist styles in this large size and more durable, modern construction. This speaks to the soul of this line of our collection—a contribution of current capabilities to a time-honored craft.Custom capable: All sizes and colors available—inquire for a quote.
