This textural rug is a bold new addition to the Texture of Color Collection by Rug & Kilim. On the Design:Made with hand-knotted silk, this rug reflects a new take on the theme of this collection—particularly a vegetable dye like those used in antique or vintage rugs that gives these a whole new kind of life. Though polychromatic in its beauty, there’s a notable plum purple undertone in the color variations that give this piece its particular beauty and gravity. Furthermore, the natural sheen of the silk blend plays beautifully with the colors—bringing out the inviting texture in a subtly engaging sense of movement. It’s a smart, intricate play of stripes and striae that yields the most modern, yet comfortable look in plain and monochromatic rugs today.
