The Anderkit King Bed is part of Vanguard's Compendium Collection.Compendium is a collection of eclectic designs that work well together. It draws heavily on the neoclassic period, primarily because its linear forms have an elegant simplicity that can be interpreted through finish. Vanguard Furniture's artisans hand-apply all finishes, taking careful steps to ensure each piece has the care and attention required to enhance the natural character of the furniture. No two pieces are the same — every piece of furniture is truly unique. This bed rises 89.25" high with an aged Bronze metal canopy, four finials with a metal base and wood top. It also includes a tufted headboard and requires a box spring. This bed is available in many fabrics and wood finishes.

Our Flying Arch Canopy Bed is a simple beauty that applies a modern sleek design to a traditional canopy. The bed comes with an upholstered headboard with single welting.

The Reese King Bed brings a striking combination of dark wood and forged metal into a modern canopy design. Crafted with spindle-like details along the metal frame, this bed offers a rustic yet refined aesthetic, balancing rugged elements with elegant craftsmanship. Finished in a rich cerused forest black with dark antique brass accents, the Reese Bed creates a bold centerpiece for any bedroom. Available in both king and queen sizes, its canopy structure and artisanal details evoke a sense of grandeur while maintaining a contemporary edge. Perfect for those looking to add a sophisticated, statement piece to their space.

Beguiling curves soften hard materials for marked drama. Slim, hammered iron is finished in antique brass for depth that defies this frame's feminine air. A sculptural-focused design inspired by Swiss artist Alberto Giacometti. A low-profile box spring is recommended. This bed is not compatible with an adjustable mattress.

Bring timeless charm to your bedroom with this beautifully crafted poster bed. Made from solid wood, it features four tall spindle posts and a detailed scooped headboard that instantly elevates your space. A low-profile footboard balances the design, while natural wood grain variations make each piece truly unique. With its classic silhouette and quality construction, this bed is the perfect statement piece for traditional, farmhouse, or vintage-inspired interiors.

It is well made and I love the spindles! It was easy for the delivery guys to put together. It looks great in our bedroom! It makes the room feel bigger with only having the taller post on the headboard and the smaller ones on the footboard. It makes a statement when you walk in the room. Denise. Darlington, SC. The posts elevate a low ram's head-shaped headboard over side rails fitted with a rope detail simulating rope bedding supports used during the 18th century. During the period, ropes were tightened periodically as they stretched from use. Thus, the expression "sleep tight" was born. Bunkie board in lieu of traditional boxspring is recommended. Furniture and upholstery appearances can vary and are not guaranteed due to the inherent variation of all natural materials, including wood color, wood grain, leather, and stone material and finish.
